The New York Times profiled Science Schools Initiative, an organization that seeks to prepare children from low-income and minority families to pass the test that can lead to admission into one of New York City’s competitive specialized high schools. CUNY Law student Michael Mascetti (’13), who graduated from one of the City’s specialized high schools, is a co-founder of the Initiative.
