On Tuesday, November 15, the Center on Latino and Latina Rights and Equality (CLORE) at CUNY Law assembled a panel at the New York County Surrogate’s Court to discuss the Department of Justice’s September 2011 report following a comprehensive investigation that revealed patterns of misconduct within the Puerto Rican Police Department.
The panel, “Puerto Rico’s Police Department Practices: A Closer Look at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Report,” was co-sponsored by the Puerto Rican Bar Association and the National Lawyers Guild International Committee and included:
