This American Life featured CUNY Law’s Creating Law Enforcement Accountability and Responsibility (CLEAR) Project.
The CLEAR project was also recently featured in an article on AlterNet. The article details the FBI’s practice of spying on Muslim communities and quotes Diala Shamas, a Liman Fellow working with the CLEAR project.
The CLEAR project aims to address the unmet legal needs of Muslim, Arab, South Asian, and other communities in the New York City area that are particularly affected by national security and counterterrorism policies and practices.
