On June 26, the Center for Urban Environmental Reform (CUER) held its first annual Scholars Workshop on Regulating the Urban Environment. Discussions focused on the social construction of the urban environment; the unique regulatory challenges posed by a multicultural, densely populated urban environment; and the issues of environmental democracy and participatory decision making.
