The New York Daily News reports that lawyers for plaintiffs and the City of New York said at a court hearing that settlement discussions are taking place in a decade-long federal civil rights lawsuit brought by five men exonerated in the rape of a jogger in Central Park in 1989. Adjunct Professor Jonathan Moore, a lawyer for several of the men known as the Central Park Five, said there is hope of a resolution of the wrongful conviction lawsuit in the next thirty days.
