University Dean for Libraries and Information Resources Curtis Kendrick has been appointed chair of the Mouse Program Committee. Mouse is an innovative youth development organization that empowers underserved students to provide technology support and leadership in their schools, supporting their academic and career success. Mouse has had a long relationship with CUNY including a current collaboration on the U.S. Department of Commerce Broadband Technology Opportunities Program. On his appointment as chair of the Program Committee University Dean Kendrick commented: “I have been on the board of Mouse for several years, and am highly impressed by their model of combining hard technology skills and soft customer service and communication skills. I am honored to be appointed to lead the Program Committee and provide assistance to Mouse in this capacity.” For more information about Mouse, see: http://www.mouse.org/.
