Over 125 students attended Guttman’s first annual Transfer Fair on September 26.

Guttman Community College held its first annual Transfer Fair on September 26 in the Atrium and Information Commons. Over 25 local and regional colleges and universities participated, including CUNY, SUNY, the New School, Marymount Manhattan College, St. John’s University, New Jersey City University and Rutgers University. After a warm welcome greeting from President Scott E. Evenbeck and Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs José Luis Morín, second-year students benefitted from the opportunity to speak to visiting representatives from a broad range of institutions. Students learned about degree programs, financial aid, campus life and career development. A number of Guttman first-year students also attended the event to gain a better understanding of what four-year institutions expect from transfer students.
