Guttman Community College held its second annual canned food drive October 21-November 22. Under the leadership of second-year students Adelfa Peralta, Marc Codera and Alysha Pryce, and with support from Professors Nicola Blake and Nicole Saint-Louis, over 300 food items were collected including canned goods, boxes of cereal and other non-perishable food items, to benefit Guttman students. The Guttman community demonstrated a wonderful spirit of generosity and purpose in donating so many items to assist those in need.

“That this is being done for students at the college is pretty special,” noted Adelfa Peralta. Food items will be available to students at the One Stop Resource and Benefits Office located on the Lower Level, Room 018. After the holidays the Office will hold a drive for necessities items such as toothpaste and tissues.
