Typhoon Haiyan: Support for affected employees

On Friday, November 8, Typhoon Haiyan – one of the most powerful storms ever to make landfall – swept through six central Philippine islands. On Sunday, the storm hit Vietnam. With hundreds of thousands of people displaced and estimated death tolls in the thousands, the devastation affects not only the residents but also their family and friends here in the US.

CCA wants to make sure you have the resources and support you need to deal with the storm’s aftermath. Remember, CCA is FREE and here to help:

  • CCA’s Helpline counselors are available 24/7 to assist employees and their family members with emotional and logistical recovery.
  • My CCA Online, your member website, has added a “Typhoon Yolanda” tab on the Home Page in the News for You section. This tab provides important information and resources to help members cope with this disaster. Use company code: CUNY
