Dr. Carl Kirschner has joined the Division of Student Affairs as the University Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, effective October 15, 2007. Dean Kirschner received his Ph.D in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from New York University. He has taught psychology and business courses at both undergraduate and graduate programs and has served in Student Development at Baruch for over twenty-five years.
Most recently, Dean Kirschner served over 22,000 students across three campuses as Suffolk Community College Dean of Students. Dean Kirschner arrives at the Division with a wealth of experience in Student Affairs as well as work as a consultant with public and private corporations addressing the areas of training, leadership, motivation, diversity and team building. He is married with one son.
