CUNY Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Dr. Frank D. Sanchez was presented the Educational Leadership Award by the New York City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The award was one of several honors presented to community and business leaders at the 7th Annual Hispanic Business Awards Banquet and Scholarship Ceremony held on December 7th.
Deputy Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Chief of Staff, Dr. Paulette Dalpes has been selected to be an ACPA College Student Educators International Diamond Honoree recipient in 2013. It is the highest honor bestowed upon a deserving higher education professional by ACPA (American College Personnel Association).
Dr. Angela Anselmo together with the faculty and staff of the Percy Ellis Sutton SEEK program at Baruch College has been awarded the 2012 NASPA Excellence Award. The Program was selected as the Gold Award Winner for the Administrative, Assessment, Information Technology, Fundraising, Professional Development and related category. The Gold Award is the highest program award that NASPA bestows.
In October, Acting University Director for Veterans Affairs, Stephen Clark was elected to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Veteran’s Program Administrators (NAVPA) and elected President of the New York State Advisory Council on Military Education (NYS ACME). Clark is also a contributing writer for the recently published book Networking for Veterans: A Guidebook for a Successful Military Transition.
