Nepal Earthquake Relief Efforts

On Saturday, April 25, 2015, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck central Nepal at mid-day local time.  This was followed by more than 20 aftershocks in the 4.5 to 6.6 range.  Approximately, 6.6 million people live within 100 km of the earthquake’s epicenter.  The earthquake also effected regions in neighboring Bangladesh, India and China.
