Sustainable CUNY Helps NYC Reach Solar Goals

OneNYC: Solar Power Expands Rapidly, Quadruples Under Mayor de Blasio

In advance of Earth Day on April 22, Mayor Bill de Blasio today announced that solar capacity continues to expand citywide, bringing better access to clean affordable energy and well-paying green jobs. Since the start of his Administration, solar power has more than quadrupled, providing nearly 105 megawatts of electricity and directly supporting over 2,700 jobs across the five boroughs.
