Times Talk: The Impact of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ (DADT)
One of the most hotly debated and divisive social issues of the past few decades has been whether to allow openly gay men and women to serve in the U.S. Military.
See the New York premiere of ‘Ask Not,’ a new documentary that explores the impact of 1993’s ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring filmmaker Johnny Symons, policy expert Dr. Nathaniel Frank and Jarrod Chlapowski and Alex Nicholson – former soldiers who have been discharged for speaking out about their sexual orientation.
The panel will be moderated by Andrew Jacobs, New York Times Metro reporter.
This event will take place at The Times Center, 242 West 41st Street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues (800) 272-9533, from 6 – 8 PM. Tickets are $20 dollars.
