Veteran’s Support Services Coordinator: (Part Time Approx 14 hours per week)

New York City College of Technology

Reporting to the Director of Counseling Services, the Veteran Support Services Coordinator helps students who are veterans of the US military services effectively transition into college. He or she will work towards building community and educating the campus about the needs and strengths of the veteran’s student population.  Designed to promote veteran student’s success the coordinator will plan, initiate and conduct project initiatives while working closely with all offices, organizations and individuals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Required) Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred.

Organizational Experience:

University, Veterans Services, Military Service

Computer Skills:

MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet
Personal Skills & Attributes:
