Four Block Internship/Career Development Program
Join your fellow NYC student-veterans with obtaining internships at corporations such as NBC Universal, Bloomberg, JP Morgan Chase, and AT&T.
Four Block is accepting twenty-five student-veteran fellows for its 2011-2012 program.
This is a three-part program in which the student-veteran fellows will obtain the necessary networking opportunities and professional development needed to land internships at our nations top corporations and start-up companies.
The Four Block Undergraduate Fellowship Program will consist of three phases:
Phase 1: During the Fall 2011 semester, twenty-five student-veteran fellows will visit eight Fortune 500 companies in order to network with veteran-employees, learn about career opportunities, and receive professional development from HR personnel.
September: Veteran Entrepreneurs
October: Marsh & McClennan, NBC Universal, NY Life, Citi Group
November: Bloomberg, AT&T, JP Morgan Chase
TBD: CBS, National Football League
Phase 2: During the Spring 2012 semester, Four Block will assist student-veteran fellows in securing a summer or fall internship.
Phase 3: Student-veteran fellows will execute their summer or fall internship.
Here’s how it works: Acceptance into the program will be conducted on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. Deadline for applications are due by Friday, September 23, 2011. Please send the following documents in PDF format to email@example.com. A Four Block representative will be in touch with you shortly thereafter.

– Transcripts (can be unofficial)
- – Undergraduate student (at least half-time enrolled)
– 3.0 grade point average
– Minimum of 30 college credits obtained
– Served after 9/11 and received an honorable discharge
- – Attendance mandatory (most events are held on Wednesdays from 6-8pm)
– Suite and tie needed for all networking events
Applicants will be notified of acceptance by Sep 24, 2011.
