Partnerships that help artists and educators meet their own local challenges have been formed with groups and organizations in South
Africa, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Japan, Jamaica and the Middle East. Recent projects include:
Crossing the Bridge
A collaboration with Palestinian, Jordanian and Israeli actors to create a play that brought a message of tolerance and peace to young people in the Middle East.
Project Japan The Society of Children's Theatre Works and Community Development in the Kyushu-Okinawa region brought CAT to Japan to introduce the concept of educational theatre.
The Society hopes to build future training programs in theatre-in-education and youth theatre processes.
B.E.S.T. Project The Bilateral Educational Support through Theatre Project was a partnership with four South African universities. CAT collaborated with educators, artists and healthcare workers to
offer training that would help address pressing issues, including literacy and community health and wellness.
