General Information and Tuition for CUNY Graduate Programs
The Masters in Public Administration program is a 42 to 45-credit program that can be pursued through a part-time, full-time or Executive delivery models. Currently, 400 MPA students are enrolled: 51% part-time, 18% full-time and 31% in an Executive program.

The Masters in Public Administration program gives students the analytical and organizational tools to assess needs, gauge outcomes, and manage projects, budgets, and people in diverse environments. It develops practical skills and knowledge that graduates can apply to the daily, real-world challenges faced in the nonprofit sector, in government, and in private sector arenas that work closely with government and nonprofits.

Core courses provide all students with the essential tools of public management and policy analysis. Students may then choose a specialization -- Nonprofit Administration, Health Care Policy, Public Management and Policy Analysis & Evaluation. Students may choose instead to work with their faculty advisor to design a course of study that best fits their professional goals.

A very active Office of Career Services & Alumni Affairs assists students in finding internships (when required), offers workshops, job fairs and social events to increase student’s awareness of options and assist with networking and job searches.
