I am very pleased to join with the Consul General of México in New York, Ramón Xilotl, in welcoming you to CUNY with a clear and inviting message, ¡Sí SE PUEDE!

The CUNY system offers the Mexican and Mexican American community of New York City educational opportunities from adult literacy, language immersion and high school equivalency programs to degree-credit courses leading to the associate, baccalaureate, masters and PhD degrees.

We are deeply proud that CUNY serves over 50,000 Hispanic undergraduate and graduate students and another 75,000 adult and continuing education students of Hispanic descent at our 22 colleges and University professional schools.

You and your family members may be eligible for financial aid or scholarships, part-time or full-time study, or courses offered in the evening or weekends. CUNY is the place for you to realize your dreams.

I encourage you to call 1-800-CUNY-YES or visit our web site at www.cuny.edu to learn more regarding hundreds of academic programs at CUNY which lead to productive careers in numerous fields.

¡Buena Suerte!
