CUNY Expands ‘ACE’ Program to Lehman College

The City University of New York is expanding its promising Accelerate, Complete and Engage program to Lehman College. The program at Lehman will begin in Fall 2019 and serve 125 first-time, full-time freshman, and 125 full-time transfer students who enter with an associate degree. Read more>>

Wall Street Journal’s “Student Debt in America and the Hope of Affordable Education” video addresses student debt in the United States, and how the debt has reached record levels. Wall Street Journal Mentions ASAP as a program “gaining national attention for helping students earn a college degree and escape the burden of loans they would struggle to repay.”  Watch here>>

CUNY’s Accelerate, Complete, Engage (ACE) program cited in Politico as “CUNY Celebrates First Graduate from New Program.” ACE Student, “Piotr Tandek recently graduated John Jay College of Criminal Justice with his bachelor’s degree in two years.” Read more>>

 The Journal of Higher Education has published an article on the benefit-cost study of ASAP conducted by Henry Levin and Emma Garcia, finding that ASAP generates returns to the taxpayer that vastly exceed the public investment required.
