Caleb Teicher & Company presents new work that blends traditional American dance forms in a modern context. Taking inspirations from his background in concert dance, musical theater, and social dance, Caleb’s Teicher’s work addresses questions of how and why we dance in the 21st century.

A 2011 Bessie Award Winner for Outstanding Individual Performance and one of Dance Magazine’s 2012 “25 to Watch”, Caleb Teicher has garnered acclaim for his work as a performer, most notably as a member of Dorrance Dance and The Chase Brock Experience. Founded in 2012, his company explores a wide range of American dance forms (tap dance, lindy hop, and vernacular jazz), creating work full of rhythm, humor, and a uniquely American physicality. Caleb Teicher & Company is also currently an Artist in Residence at the American Tap Dance Foundation, and past work has been presented at the 14th Street Y, The Duke on 42nd Street, 92Y’s Fridays at Noon, Symphony Space, and the New Jersey Tap Festival.
