More about ELSCO Dance

2014 | Lehman College

ELSCO Dance is rehearsing at Lehman College for the company’s upcoming fall season at Spoke the Hub in Brooklyn. They will live-stream their rehearsals. ELSCO will offer a lecture-demonstration that includes a showing of selections of their new piece, followed by a conversation about using technology in dance.

ELSCO Dance was established by Ellenore Scott in 2012 to redefine the dialogue of dance. Ellenore was a finalist and All-Star on So You Think You Can Dance and has been a featured dancer on Smash, GLEE, and Dancing With the Stars.

Combining the ideals of commercial and concert dance, ELSCO takes pride in not only performing in live shows but also in live-streaming rehearsals, producing dances for films and engaging with audiences outside of the standard concert performance. ELSCO has performed in numerous New York City festivals and toured in Boston, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. ELSCO also produces The Breaking Glass Project, an emerging female choreographers project, and Dance Roulette, an interactive improv dance event.
