COLLEGE FOR KIDS

Kingsborough Community College
College for Kids offers participants a diverse range of activities including visual arts, magic, swimming, self-defense, piano, tennis, chess, math and reading. Kingsborough offers four and six week full-day programs, along with a morning-only program.

SUMMER GETAWAY

York College
Summer Getaway is a full-day camp separated by grade level for children from 2nd to 7th grade. This program balances arts, athletics, and academic courses which are taught by Department of Education licensed instructors. This 5 week camp closes with a day of presentations and performances for students to celebrate their accomplishments.

SUMMER INTENSIVE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM

City University of New York
Students can spend a summer studying on a campus of The City University of New York and master the skills necessary for success in high school. This program is offered on four campuses of the University: Bronx Community College, Hostos Community College, LaGuardia Community College and New York City College of Technology.

COLLEGE NOW

College Now is a free program designed to prepare New York City's public high school students for college. Through College Now, over 300 public schools collaborate with CUNY’s 17 colleges to provide students with high school and college-credit courses, college-preparatory activities, experiential-based programs, and access to campus facilities. More than 24 summer programs, from science and art, to television production, to rowing on the Hudson River, are available for eligible NYC public high school students.

TEEN ACADEMY AND COLLEGE FOR CHILDREN

LaGuardia Community College
Teen Academy offers academic courses and test preparation for middle, junior and high school students and test preparation. College for Children offers courses in early literacy and math development, as well as reading, writing, study skills, and math for grades K-5. Participants in both programs can also take courses in performing and visual arts.

PRE-COLLEGE SUMMER PROGRAM

Lehman College
Pre-College Summer Program offers a large array of classes and programs for kids aged 4 through 16. Half and full day programs offer participants sessions in academic skills, test preparation, computer technology, foreign languages, art, music, dance, and physical fitness.
