CUNY currently enrolls more than 8,000 students who identify themselves as having a disability. Each campus operates an office that provides services to this population of students. Students and faculty receive assistance with meeting 504/ADA requirements. Students are able to validate their special needs, receive counseling and referrals, and arrange for academic services specifically targeted to their needs.
